Feeding efforts continue in Greater New York

Brookline’s Jack Kavanagh, a volunteer assigned to hurricane relief feeding activity in Long Island, provided those of us back home with this report today:

ERV parking at a shelter in Deer Park, Long Island.

“At this location only we have 92 [Emergency Response Vehicles] and crews from all over the USA delivering hot food and supplies to neighborhoods still without power.

In addition to this location, we have four more disaster kitchens all around NYC and Staten Island doing the same thing. This does not include any of our response activity in NJ.”
