Youth Talent Show helps support Red Cross services for military families

The American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusett’s Youth Advisory Board recently held their Annual Youth Talent Show Competition – which was attended by over 150 people from the region – to raise much needed support and awareness for military families.

First place was a tie between spoken word artist Amy Kiem and Buckingham Browne and Nichols senior and singer Sarah Clavijo. Second place went to Lil Phunk and 3rd place went to BLS Step Squad.

The event raised close to $1,400 for ‘Service to the Armed Forces,’ an American Red Cross program that provides support services to military families and personnel. This is part of a yearlong focus for youth programs in supporting events and initiatives around service to armed forces.
