Fantasy sports & the Red Cross – what’s not to like?

A Boston-based business is doing its part to raise money for Hurricane Sandy relief.

Starting at noon Thursday, DraftKings, a local fantasy sports company, will charge players $5 per entry for an NFL contest. Players can make up to $5 entries up until 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The contest will run through Monday Night Football, and the top five winners will receive a DraftKings t-shirt.

DraftKings will match all donations, with a minimum of $1,000, which will go to the American Red Cross.

This is the kind of community support that helps the American Red Cross continue assisting the thousands of people affected by the hurricane.
