Red Crossers serving at three-alarm fire on Cape Cod

The unoccupied Stone Horse Motel in Harwich was on fire Sunday morning, and more than 75 public safety personnel were there to respond.

The three-alarm fire also had Red Crossers there to support the first responders. Conditions were icy, windy and very cold. Red Crossers handed out the products of two coffee runs to Dunkin Donuts and then ran to Wendy’s for breakfast sandwiches.

Red Cross emergency response vehicles from both the Mid Cape and Lower Cape teams were on scene the whole night.
