Jonathan Goldfield and fellow volunteers are wrapping up their work at the Red Cross shelter at Nassau Community College.

Goldfield said they have packed up the dorm and command center – supplies which will go into storage. In the meantime, Goldfield has gotten to know Bill Pruyne, a registered nurse from Springfield, MA.

Pruyne has been a volunteer with the American Red Cross for more than ten years, and this was his second Sandy deployment and 17th national deployment.
