How will you celebrate Red Cross Month?

We’re just about half way through March, and if you haven’t already celebrated the Red Cross this month, it’s time to get on it.

Don’t worry – there are still plenty of ways to support your favorite non-profit. Start by attending an event:

March 14: Burger Night

Stop by Five Guys Burgers and Fries at 37 Forbes Road in Braintree on Thursday, March 14, for a tasty fundraiser sponsored by the Braintree High School Red Cross Club. Ten percent of proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross.

March 15: Night out for the Red Cross

Stop by Jo’s Nautical Bar at 125 Nastasket Ave. in Hull at 7 p.m. Pay a suggested donation of $20 for a chance to enter raffles, enjoy appetizers and rock out to a DJ. You’ll be supporting Jessica Jones’ fundraising efforts.

March 21: Northeast Annual Community Heroes Breakfast

Help us celebrate local heroes at the 11th Annual Community Heroes Breakfast hosted by the American Red Cross of Northeast Massachusetts. Have breakfast and hear some amazing stories about people in your communities.

March 22: Youth Programs Annual Talent Show

Want to watch some skilled kids rock out on stage? Join us at the annual Talent Show at the Cambridge YMCA at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 and will help vaccinate children against Measles.

March 23: Half Marathon Challenge

Support Natalia Escallon as she runs a treadmill half-marathon at The Linden Store at 11:30 a.m. on 162 Linden Street in Wellesley.  There event also features raffle prizes and DJ entertainment.

March 23: Fundraiser at Harpoon Brewery

A $25 entry fee includes sampling of Harpoon beer, a brewery tour and pizza. The event will also feature raffle prices, and will go towards helping Mike Slowik meet his fundraising goals. The brewery us located at 206 Northern Ave. in Boston.

ALL MONTH LONG: Got Heroes?

By visiting GotHeroes.Org, you can celebrate your hero with a gift of $25 or more to the American Red Cross. Your hero will receive a thank you from us including notice of your nomination. To learn more, visit www.gotheroes.org.
