It’s been more than a month since the Boston Marathon Bombing, but the American Red Cross is still supporting those who were affected by the tragedy.

At the Hometown Comfort in Dorchester yesterday, Red Cross volunteers and disaster mental health volunteers supported emotional needs during a community event that featured a blood drive and collection for the One-Fund Boston.

Volunteers provided refreshments during the day-long event, and offered a shoulder to anyone who needed it.
