Disaster Services Revs Up

The American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts has had an exceptionally busy period in Disaster Services since July 1st. Our Red Crossers have worked so hard during this time, responding quickly and ready to help.

A total of 76 Disaster volunteers have responded to 18 incidents, assisting 195 individuals in 58 families in the following locations:

1. Boston (Roslindale)
2. Arlington
3. Lawrence
4. Dracut
5. Lawrence
6. Fall River
7. Boston (Allston)
8. Plymouth (DR 539-14)
9. Boston (Dorchester)
10. Barnstable
11. Cambridge
12. Quincy
13. Somerville
14. Somerville (2nd fire in Somerville that morning)
15. Everett
16. Wareham
17. Lynn
18. New Bedford

Currently, our direct client assistance to these families has exceeded $35,000 (that does not include additional assistance that will be extended to these families in the coming days and weeks).
